Description
The Catellani & Smith Colonna is made of waxed rough iron and has an outlet so that the inside of the lamp is visible. The outlet of this floor lamp is located in the upper half of the lamp body and has a quarter sphere shape. The Colonna looks black from the outside, from the inside it is covered with an irregular, relief-like surface, which is available in three versions: gold leaf, copper and silver leaf. The light source illuminates the inside of the floor lamp, so that the reflected, emerging light casts a different light depending on the colour selection.
This lamp has a total height of 200 cm and a diameter of 33 cm. It is mounted on a three-part base, so that the floor lamp does not stand directly on the floor and light is emitted also from underneath the lamp body. The brightness of the Catellani & Smith Colonna can be adjusted using an integrated dimmer. LED retrofit lamps or halogen lamps are suitable as illuminants.
