Fireplace Fuji
[Peter Keilbach]
Description
Fuji from Keilbach can be spontaneously transformed from a fireplace into a barbecue.
The fireplace consists of 3 mm thick sheet steel, which is dark and bright in its original condition. This corrodes in the course of time and the fireplace gets its individual rust-coloured patina. In addition, the soot leaves interesting contrasts on the corroding material. Fuji can easily stand outdoors all year round.
The fireplace has an edge length of 35 x 35 cm, a height of 60 cm and a weight of 21 kg.
As the firewood shell is mounted higher, the floor underneath does not suffer any damage. However, the oxidized material can leave traces on the ground.
With an optionally offered barbecue rust made of stainless steel, the fireplace can quickly be turned into a fully-fledged barbecue.
Another optional accessory is a ground plate made of sheet steel. The fireplace is better shown to advantage by the increase. In addition embers or sparks cannot fall on the soil, but are caught surely by the sheet metal.
