Mailbox Glasnost printed glass
[Peter Keilbach]
Description
The Glasnost mailbox with printed glass is offered in many different versions, whose common feature is the front made of printed safety glass, combined with walls, floor and flap made of brushed stainless steel.
The designer Peter Keilbach attaches great importance to high-quality materials, careful workmanship, timeless design and long life expectancy in his Glasnost letterbox series. This high-quality workmanship can be seen, for example, in the installation of 2 damping elements. The flap closes slowly and quietly. The stainless steel of the side walls and the flap is between 1.5 and 2 mm thick, the letterbox weighs 9 kg. The lock is protected under the flap, the letters are elevated inside on a double floor.
The design is rather simple and elegant. The mailbox is understood as an architectural element that does not want to be more important than the architecture itself.
Matching the mailboxes, Keilbach offers tripods that carry the mailbox. These tripods are available as accessories.
Also suitable newspaper boxes are offered.
