Our test laboratories in Übach-Palenberg put our products through their paces and our designers and developers use every input to improve our products. This is not least because we have the best customers who do not hold back with honest feedback. We attach great importance to trust and honesty. If we promise a certain delivery time within Germany, we want to keep it. If a lamp has been awarded a certain protection class, then it should also meet this requirement. But if we have made an incorrect assessment, we want to learn from it. After all, reliability is not an attribute that can be achieved through one-off action. The key lies in consistency! If you take a look at what SLV actually stands for, you can already look back on the founding history: sound, light and video. Nowadays, this may not attract attention anymore. But in 1979, just 100 years after the invention of the market-ready light bulb and even before the emergence of the Internet as we know it today, it was quite revolutionary! Our founder originally wanted to meet the needs of professional DJs, who conquered the nightclub scene with a combination of lighting and music based on John Travolta's "Night Fever". 40 years later, SLV GmbH is a conglomerate that successfully distributes lighting and lighting solutions in over 100 countries and through 15 subsidiaries. Light is still the passion of SLV lighting designers and this is reflected in the entire supply chain.
