Description
The Foscarini Twice as Twiggy Terra is a further development of the famous Twiggy Terra by Marc Sadler. Like this, the floor lamp of 2016 is also equipped with an arc-shaped light arm. As the name suggests, the projection of the Twice as Twiggy floor lamp is nearly twice as large as the original Twiggy Terra.
This makes the Twice as Twiggy particularly suitable for large rooms. At the same time, it still does not miss the lightness in the design of its predecessor. Thanks to a steel cable inside, the diameter of the arc is still very thin. In addition, the wide and at the same time lightweight shade can be adjusted with counterweights in the height.
The two LED chips of the arc light emits the light both directly downwards and indirectly upwards towards the ceiling. The LEDs have been developed by Foscarini itself in such a way that the lightnuance of a halogen light source is maintained with respect to the colour temperature. The floor lamp has an on / off switch on the supply line, which also serves as a dimmer for infinitely variable regulation.
The following colours are offered: white, black, crimsonred and greige grey-beige.
