The Ingo Maurer YAYAHO collection was designed in 1984 by Ingo Maurer and his team. The collection is a low-voltage lighting system that includes nine lamp elements and four base parts. The Part A transformer, the Part B special ropes, the Part E metal rod and the Part F covers are required for the individual lighting elements, which can be combined individually. The YAYAHO Element 1 lamp consists of an opal glass globe and two metal rods, which can be moved horizontally on the ropes of the system. The element 2 with its two ropes with counterweights can be moved horizontally on the special ropes and it is height adjustable. The element 2 is optionally available with mirror, this breaks the light, so that the light is reflected in a different direction. The element 3 has a multi mirror reflector with protective glass and a metal rod with black insulating tube. The element 4 has two ropes with counterweights that can be moved on the special ropes in the vertical and horizontal directions. The Element 5 light has two ropes with counterweights. The Element 6 light has two metal rods that allow this element to be moved horizontally on the system ropes. The reflector is surrounded by a heat-resistant cover and it is swivelable. The YAYAHO Element 7 has two ropes with counterweights that are height adjustable. With this collection, everyone can put together its own individual lighting system.
